So this is a concoction I have been drinking regularly for the part .... 15 years.
I use it regularly in flu season or when I feel my immune system needs a boost.
Milk or milk substitute... almond milk is great.
Generous amounts of fresh ginger as much as you can handle ( ie:: 1/2 thumb / serving)
Turmeric (fresh if you have it or powder if not) until the drink is yellow
Honey to taste....
heat milk but don't boil.
add ginger , turmeric and honey let steep but not boil.
- occasionally I add a black tea bag, cardamon and a dash of cinnamon for a chai effect.
